Special Seating

Graduates and Guests with Disabilities

If you have persons in your party who are unable to walk long distances, use wheelchairs, or have other special needs, you may complete the Special Services form.

Two passes admitting the guest and one accompanying person to a special seating area will be mailed after that date. Requests postmarked after the April deadline and telephone requests cannot be honored.

Parking for Guests with Disabilities

While there are many handicap accessible parking spots on campus, for graduation demand will be higher than supply. On Monday, it is best to use the appointed Drop Off site next to the Administration Building. Police on campus will be able to direct you. Usually, it will be best to then park in Peavine, next to the Woodruff PE Center. Also, there are buses from all parking decks to the Main Quad. The buses are wheelchair accessible.

Please note that Fishburne deck is the least accessible for wheelchairs. Options include dropping the wheelchair guest off at the archway between the Business School buildings and then proceeding to the quad on foot or by the shuttle bus.

There will be buses and golf carts from the Main Quad to the BBA Champagne Brunch at Goizueta Business School and to the MBA Diploma Ceremony in the Woodruff PE Center. Additionally, there will be buses and golf carts from the BBA Brunch to the Woodruff PE Center and from the MBA Diploma Ceremony in the Woodruff PE Center to the Goizueta Business School building for the reception. We do ask that able-bodied people not ride on the golf carts.

Emory University does not provide wheelchairs. Wheelchair rentals are available through local companies. These are private companies and are not affiliated with Emory.
