Emory is currently rolling out two-factor authentication through a service called Duo so we are urging everyone to set up this service at their earliest convenience. This is a security measure to combat phishing and other threats to user accounts.
What this means for our community is that you will be asked to verify your identity through a notification on your phone when accessing certain services off campus.
While this currently only affects accessing your email and other O365 resources via email.emory.edu while off campus, this will be implemented to protect other services in the future. This will not affect email access through Android or iOS apps.
